Our Story
Happy Dumplings was born out of a deep love for authentic Chinese cuisine and the joy of bringing people together around a table. We fell in love with the art of dumpling-making during our travels through Shanghai and Beijing. We couldn't bring back the bustling streets or the night markets, but we could bring back the tradition and soul of handmade dumplings. That's what we're doing with Happy Dumplings—creating a warm, vibrant space where every bite brings happiness and every meal becomes a celebration.

Our journey began in 2015 when we decided to leave corporate life behind and pursue our true passion: sharing the art of dumpling-making with Seattle. After years learning from our grandmother in China, we brought that same love and dedication to every dumpling we fold. The joy and satisfaction of serving delicious, handmade dumplings to our community has been beyond our wildest dreams.
